26 healthcare orgs earn top Most Wired award

A total of 26 healthcare organizations have earned Level 10 status in the 2024 CHIME Digital Health Most Wired (DHMW) survey, the highest level of recognition in the program. 

This marks a record-breaking year for the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME), which celebrates a 58% increase in Level 10 awardees compared to 2023. The milestone highlights the continued acceleration of digital transformation across the healthcare sector.

“The CHIME Digital Health Most Wired Survey for 2024 is a testament to an even further acceleration of digital transformation in healthcare than we’ve seen in previous years,” said Russ Branzell, President and CEO of CHIME in a press release. “While in the last few years we still saw reactive pandemic-related innovation, in 2024 we see that innovation was much more organic and proactive, and incredibly sophisticated. Beyond the individual achievements of these organizations, the data from the CHIME Digital Health Most Wired Survey highlights the organizational, technological and societal compass of leading healthcare providers as they reimagine care across our industry.”

The DHMW survey evaluates the digital health ecosystems of healthcare organizations across a wide array of sectors, including inpatient acute care, long-term post-acute care (LTPAC), ambulatory, and community-based care. This year’s survey assessed 48,000 care sites, with 26 organizations meeting the stringent criteria required for Level 10 status.
